Mark will be the "Moderator" for the Historical Panel at the Daedalian Airpower Symposium to be held at Ceasar's Palace, Las Vegas!


Mark will be the featured speaker for the first night at the National WWII Glider Pilot Association Reunion held in Colorado Springs, CO. His presentation will be given at the U.S. Air Force Academy and focus on the 80th Anniversary of the invasion of Sicily.

Mark will be the keynote speaker at a D-Day ceremony held at the former site of RAF Saltby in the United Kingdom. He will be dressed in his all original WWII USAFF “Pinks N Green” uniform portraying Colonel Clayton Stiles, the Commander of the 314th Troop Carrier Group in WWII. His talk will focus on the paradrop and resupply missions the 314th flew into Normandy supporting D-day.

Mark will be the guest speaker at the San Antonio Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) lunch at the Army Retirement Center, where he will give a presentation on the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

Mark teamed up with friend and fellow WWII glider historian and author Mrs. Monique Moussaeu - Taylor for a dual author book signing at a private event in Austin, Texas

For the 80th Anniversary of Operation Husky, the invasion of Sicily, Host Paul Woodage invited Mark back to give a presentation on USAAF Troop Carrier C-47s and Glider Pilots in combat with the British 1st Airborne Division in Sicily. Click here to watch the interview
